In search of the perfect saddle

After my epic search for a stable fit for my horse (I might tell that story another time) which finally seems to come to an end (at least I hope so) I have started another search: the one for the perfect saddle. Since my gelding does not approve, or at least not for long, of the usual western saddles I keep trying out on him, I am going in a new direction: the treeless saddle. And while people in neighboring countries seem to have lots of experience with such saddles, I am apparently living in a developing country concering this subject.

Luckily I found a lady who acually has some experience with treeless saddles and is willing to share. The difficult part about this is, she is French speaking. My French is passable, but it stops at sophisticated riding and saddle terms. But luckily we seem to communicate well enough, she has offered to bring me some try out saddles as soon as my horse is acually living where I am, and will even order me the saddle I am most interested in – without risk for me. I just have to pay a reasonable rate for her services, and can then decide if I want to keep the saddle. This is so great! By the way, this is the saddle I am looking at: Startrekk Western Saddle
